EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy approach that helps people heal from trauma and distressing experiences that lead to a range of mental health concerns. During EMDR therapy, you will engage in a series of bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping, while recalling and processing distressing memories. This process allows your brain to naturally process and integrate these memories, reducing their emotional impact and alleviating symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and intrusive thoughts. I offer EMDR as a standalone treatment or integrated with traditional talk therapy.
EMDR Intensives
EMDR Intensives offer an accelerated approach to healing from trauma and other distressing experiences. During an intensive, we will dedicate a significant amount of time to processing challenging memories and developing coping strategies. Intensives allow for more in-depth exploration and processing of trauma in a shorter timeframe. Each intensive is tailored to your specific needs and goals. Intensives require a significant time commitment and may not be suitable for everyone. We will carefully assess your individual needs and discuss whether an intensive is the right approach for you
